On May 29, 2024, Xie Dongsheng, the Director of the District Science and Technology Committee, led a delegation to Shanghai MExpert Technology Co., Ltd., accompanied by Deputy General Manager Zhang Zhifan from the industrial park. The founder of MExpert, Wu Zhenyu, a researcher at the Shanghai Institute of Microsystem and Information Technology of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, along with General Manager Guo Ying and Technical Director Wang Lihao, provided support throughout the visit.  

Innovation breakthrough, win-win future

The delegation first toured the MExpert laboratory, where warm regards were extended to the dedicated staff. Subsequently, General Manager Guo Ying offered an in-depth presentation on the current product offerings, development status, and future plans of MExpert. Technical Director Wang Lihao elaborated on the demonstration process and working principles of the laser tracking and projection demo system built on the MExpert MEMS mirrors .  

Director Xie detailed the current science and technology policies in the Jiading District and the supportive orientation towards innovative enterprises, highlighting the district's "Five Ones" initiative and the committee’s strong backing for industry-academia-research partnerships. Dr. Wu  expressed gratitude for the leadership’s interest and engaged in an in-depth dialogue with Director Xie concerning the future development of MExpert Technology. Director Xie also indicated a commitment to providing ongoing attention and support for hard technology companies like MExpert Technology.

After the communication concluded, everyone participated in a group photo to commemorate the occasion.
